Introduce Jamaica

Jamaica is a country in South America and known as an island nation which is situated in the Caribbean Sea. The country of sun-drenched beaches is abundant in culture heritage and is a real tropical paradise on earth. Christopher Columbus discovered this mountainous Caribbean island and nowadays over 90 percent of Jamaican population is African descent. Jamaica was colonised by Britain in 1655 and completely gained independence in 1962. English consequently became the country’s official language.
Although it’s not a big and busy country like the Unites States or some other European countries, tourism in Jamaica earns the country million dollars each year and Jamaica has been recognised as one of the world’s greatest tourist destinations especially its capital city – Kingston.
The country is simply wonderful and attractive with its arts, music, food, cultures and landscapes. What do you think of when it comes to this delightful country?
